add a touch dictionary
It would be very useful if you built in a touch dictionary allowing the user to touch a word and have the definition pop up. All ages would benefit from this- especially students!

Highlighting & Annotations
Please add the option for users to highlight and create annotations. This may be a luxury for some users; however, it is a necessity for some students. BookShare offers many students who struggle with reading disabilities the opportunity to enhance academic success- please continue to support them in adding more study options inside this app.

Improve memory handling in Read2Go, specifically around VoiceOver usage
1. The text may be displayed on the screen, but vo can't see it. This means that you can't use vo navigation to review the text. This has serious implications: you can't see how something is spelled, you can't use vo speech to read a book, and you can't read a book in braille on a display.
2. As stated in #1, vo can't be used to read the text of a book. While the voices that come with the app do sound good, they take up so much memory that I was advised to close some apps on my…23 votes -
Cannot us other apps while listening
Can not use other applications will listening to a book being read by Read2Go. If I want to check mail or do anything else while Read2Go is playing the book and I go to another application such as mail or photos, Read2Go stops.

Work on Stopping Lockups
Read2go tends to lock up and when you go back into the program it is many pages back from your last reading position. It would be a great improvement if this could be resolved.

The "GoRead" app is free on my andriod tablet. I was very surprise to find out that your app was $20! So I guess My son won't be reading from my our new iPad.....

How's this? In a book, You can Swipe left for previous phrase, swipe right for next phrase, swipe down to Toggle play/stop and swipe up to change the functions Of swiping Left and Right. So us blind users don't have to grope for those controls, And of course, a setting to turn this on and off. Also, will you make a feature that makes the book display in the lock screen, While the book is playing, So we won't have to unlock the screen just to Pause rewind, or fast forward the book, Like the feature that music playing apps…

Improve batter life
I love the app but it taxes my iPhone batter like no other app I use. Literally moves batter down 10% in 10 minutes.

fix the app so it does not crash every single time I try to view our members list.
I am unable to view the members list within the Read2Go app. This is a problem for a school that qualifies for Bookshare and wants to use Read2Go but can't select the correct student member account on each of our individual iPads. I have closed the app, rebooted the iPads that we are testing this on, and tried many other common fixes for iPad app crashes. Our iPads run iOS6, are iPad 2s and are up to date with all apps and settings.

Add two switch scanning access, so people who can't turn pages or select book with their fingers can use switches to read independently.

Please make the highlighted word match the speech.
This problem makes the app unusable for my dyslexic son. I have attempted to adjust the speed and pitch, but it does not help. If the highlighted word is not the word that is said, it makes things harder for him to understand. Additionally, read2go is completely dropping the highlighting on many small words like pronouns, conjunctions and prepositions.

Add support for reading and writing brf files. I'd buy an app that does this.
I'd like to see brf files supported. I'd like to be able to put them on the phone and read or write in them. This may require a new app but I'd buy such an app.
