Large Buttons: Improve accesibility for physically disabled
Make buttons larger or add scanning features
77 votesWe are exploring this feature. We need to work out some iOS implementation details.

Improve navigation levels and controls for jump/skip behavior
I'd like to be able to set the two navigation steps that are available to me with the buttons at the bottom of the screen. I might prefer page and paragraph, someone else might prefer section and chapter.
Extra credit for making this a per book setting.
Rock on guys, you're doing awesome work here!

Ability to key in go to page "x"
Scrolling is fine but for those without fine motor skills or that need to quickly go to a known page, entering the number is far more efficient.

Improve progress measurement controls for usability and accessibility
Also, if there is a turn one page option in the future maybe scroll bar could show page number if page turn feature on. I think it is hard for kids who are used to thinking in pages numbers to think in percentages of the whole book. Students may need to reference the page number when writing about or discussing book in educational setting.

Add Workout Mode
Love the app! However the app is very delicate, the slightest touch stops the playback or brings up an unwanted menu.
It is difficult to slip it into your pocket while listening. It also saps battery very quickly based on its screen always being on and A processing usage. A dim screen or lock screen/playback mode might help.

need to be able to enter in page number in "Search" mode with Page navigation. VoiceOver does not allow a blind user to scroll to page nmbr
Blind users use Apple's screen reading program, VoiceOver, with Read2Go. But they can not quickly jump to a page. Under Page Navigation the Search icon should be activated so that when they type in the page number they need they get a search result with that page as the first hit.

daisy cant read daisy.org format brichure!
ive loadad the official daisy format broxchure, it appears to recognize structure but doesnt read nor shows anything, trued with Vou Lite and the same file works ... after paying the apps the minimum think it that it works!
1 voteGood feedback! Have you tried to download any books from Bookshare? Or only importing files like this brochure? Once in a while we hear about a book quality issue regarding one of the nearly 190,000 books in our collection, and those get addressed by our Collection Development team, but this is a different beast!

Enable your app to be controlled by persons with physical challenges, that is, a "switch".
People that cannot move their arms like you or I cannot navigate screen buttons. I suggest working with me to allow such people to, at the least, turn the page via an external "switch" which they could activate with their toe, eyebrow, etc.

add Folders
Some form of feature that could let you categorize your books would be extremely helpful. Something to allow you to get to your books fast and easily.
1 voteGreat thought, Jordan! We will be introducing such a concept to the Bookshare website, and our Reading Tools will follow sometime thereafter.
