There is not enough memory to load textbooks, so not compatable with NIMAC for use with textbooks in schools.
Increase the memory so that the Read2Go application can be used for textbooks by NIMAC eligible students. Or break down the textbooks by chapters which can be loaded individually.
Please make sure that you don’t have a lot of other apps running. You can double-click the round button, and the iPad or iPhone will show you the apps that are actively in memory. Turning some off (with the red negative sign in the left corner of the app) should help to clear out some memory.
If you are still having troubles, please contact support@bookshare.org and indicate the version of the Read2Go app, the iOS version, the memory available in the device and which book.

ISBN: 9781588924605 functions correctly. You'll need to restart the app via app switcher.
1. From your device home menu double tap the home button.
2. Press and hold an application at the bottom.
3. The application icons at the bottom will begin to shake.
4. Press the Red - button to shut down the app.
5. Press the home button when complete.
6. Launch Read2Go and redownload the book. The book should now save in the Bookshelf. -

I cannot add book ISBN: 9781588924605, it must be too large? I do not have any books on book shelf and still wont load. Please advise, this is for a student.

I'd like to verify whether all apps are closed via the app switcher? Also, are the books being downloaded directly from Read2Go? Or are they being downloaded via a computer and then transferred via iTunes? May I also get the book titles and authors?

March- Will it handle multiple textbooks? We only got it to load 2. The students need ALL of their textbooks to be available. Is that an option?

Megan - We're working on some enhancements to Read2Go to enable large books and textbooks to potentially cause crashes. Can you tell me the title or ISBN of the textbook that created the out of memory issue, so we can test our upcoming enhancements with that particular book? Thanks.

Please download the updated version of Read2Go (Version 1.0.1.1). The new version is able to handle large textbooks including NIMAC books.
