This app is amazing: Keep up the good work!
This app is amazing: Keep up the good work!
Here are a few ideas for making it even better:1. Add a percentage read slider to the book playback screen, which would allow the user to know their position in a book, plus a quick way to navigate .
2. Allow the app to open other common file types such as .txt, .doc, and .pdf.
3. Add the app to the "open with" options, to allow for simpler external file reading.
4. Provide a way for transferring files into the app over a wi-fi or 3g connection.3 votesThanks for nice comment. I will pass on your compliments.
I have made a note of your ideas. Specially the #1 adding a percentage slider. For the other questions I have to speak with my team. -
Consider allowing a selection of different fonts - particularly weighted open source fonts
Thank you for this excellent app! I recently discovered a site which has open-source weighted fonts for dyslexic readers. These fonts are amazing in that they make text highly readable for those of us with dyslexia. I was amazed at my ability to read; it provides a tremendous difference. Here is the site: http://dyslexicfonts.com/downloads.php#ebook
Please consider adding a font selection capability and using these fonts. Thank you3 votes -
fix the app to allow +'s in the user name
fix the app to allow +'s in the user name. GMail allows email addresses in the form of account+label@gmail.com. I use such an email address for my son's bookshare account to separate it from spam.

Adapt for blind users.
Dear Read2Go,
The biggest group that embraced daisy is the visually impaired community. Like myself they are well known with daisy-players. The problem with these dedicated players is the price. Here in Holland you pay 500 USD for a portable player. Although the iPhone lack physical buttons, Voiceover solves most of this. There are two major solutions for a portable Daisy-player: The Victor Reader Stream and the Milestone. The Stream is leaning heavily on the tactile memory of visually impaired people. It has the same layout as the bigger home models. As the iPhone does not use tactile input this…

make the price comparable to the FREE Android app- GoRead
Why is Read2Go $20 and GoRead free? The cost is prohibitive to students trying to read at home.

Improve batter life
I love the app but it taxes my iPhone batter like no other app I use. Literally moves batter down 10% in 10 minutes.

fix the app so it does not crash every single time I try to view our members list.
I am unable to view the members list within the Read2Go app. This is a problem for a school that qualifies for Bookshare and wants to use Read2Go but can't select the correct student member account on each of our individual iPads. I have closed the app, rebooted the iPads that we are testing this on, and tried many other common fixes for iPad app crashes. Our iPads run iOS6, are iPad 2s and are up to date with all apps and settings.
